The Born Ruffians consist of Luke Lalonde on guitar and vocals, Mitch Derosier on bass and Steven Hamelin on drums. The band is a Canadian indie rock band presently signed to Warp Records. Their debut singles have had widespread airplay on CBC Radio 3, such as, This Sentence Will Ruin/Save Your Life and the single “Knife” from their cover singles Grizzly Bear. The “Hummingbird” was then released in 2007. Together with Candence Weapon, the Canadian band is on tour right now. Beforehand, they already have toured with the following: The Hidden Cameras, Hot Chip, Peter Bjorn & John and Caribou.
